The dams consist of two reservoirs: the lower Wasserfallboden and the upper Mooserboden. Surrounded by picturesque and wild alpine peaks, these high-altitude reservoirs are one of the most beautiful attractions in our area. The upper lake is situated at an altitude of 2036 m above sea level and holds a massive 84.9 million m³ of water. The reservoirs are mainly fed by meltwater.
