The route can be travelled on foot or by cable car. The excursion should take a full day. Getting there: Pasch – Kaprun – Piesendorf – Uttendorf – in Uttendorf, turn off for Weisssee. Distance is 40 km, with the final section involving a climb of about 30 minutes and 16 hairpin bends (on a rather narrow road). Parking is free: Enzingerboden – bottom station (1482m), then purchase a ticket for the ascent to Rudolfshütte – top station (2315m). Ascent and return approx. €22 per person/adult. (Family ticket 2+2 up to 12 years = €40). NOTE – the ticket office closes for a break from 12:00 to 13:00.
Ascent by cable car to Rudolfshütte (one cable car without alighting at the intermediate station Mittelstation- Grimsee) At the top station, you'll find the Rudolfshütte Hotel with a restaurant and toilets, as well as numerous hiking trails (blue 40-minute trail number 14, lovely red and black trails).
On the way back, we suggest taking the cable car down to the middle station (Mittelstation Gransee) and walking down the path for about an hour to the lower station Enzingerboden (car park).

Total distance is approx. 55 km, 30 min uphill on the final stretch on winding roads (a rather narrow road) after approx. 30 min drive – Parking (free): Enzingerboden – lower station
