Here is another interesting route that we've prepared for you. ![]()
The whole thing begins with a departure from Fusch in the direction of Salzburg. Then, in the town of Lend, we head towards the Gastein Valley. We reach Bahnhof Böckstein via a scenic route, rarely visited by motorcyclists, where we swap tarmac for…
tory, and after a half-hour train ride, we land on the other side of the mountain massif in the town of Mallnitz.
From there, we head to Gmünd, where Europe's first private Porsche Museum awaits us. The extensive car collection features 40 exhibits: from the Porsche 356 in the style of the 356 020 ALU, designed and built in Gmünd, through Porsche rally and racing cars to special exhibitions that change annually. ![]()

After a short visit to the museum and stretching our legs, the cherry on top of this delicious day awaits us – the Malta Hochalmstrasse scenic route. Driving along this road, you'll see plenty of natural wonders, as well as brave alpinists climbing the numerous vertical mountain faces. The route ends at Austria's largest dam on Lake Malta. We recommend getting off your motorbike and walking along the Malta Airwalk beside the dam.
At the start of July, a blessing of motorcycles takes place here, and in August, the annual legendary bungee jumps from the dam. You can dare to jump down approximately 165 metres.
A fairly quick return via the national road, but those who aren't too tired from the day might be tempted to return via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. ![]()
