Nockalmstrasse Motorcycle and cycle route, hidden in the Biosphere Park on the border of Styria and Carinthia
This panoramic route runs along the border of Carinthia and Salzburg, within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Nockberge. We assure you it's worth deviating these 100 km from the Grossglockner High Alpine Road to be able to go wild on these bends. It's one of those places where you'll encounter few cars throughout the entire journey, and upon reaching the toll gates, you'll feel like turning back and once again savouring the bends and views in the company of your motorcycle. Along the route, you'll find a spectacular pine forest and alpine meadows where purple cows, happy to pose for photos, are grazing.
